Know Your Risk Roadshow

Our Roadshow season has now ended. You can still find out your risk of developing Type 2 diabetes by using our online tool.

The Know Your Risk Roadshow provides information about reducing your risk of developing Type 2 diabetes through a healthy lifestyle. On the day activities include finding out your risk of Type 2 diabetes, a physical activity area, a dietician's marquee where you can ask for advice and grab yourself a piece of free fruit.

2015 Roadshow results

The Diabetes UK Know Your Risk Roadshow 2015 was a huge success; thank you to everyone who came aboard and got involved. With the support of our amazing regional teams and fantastic volunteers we delivered 163 roadshow days across the United Kingdom.

A massive 15,178 people found out their risk of Type 2 diabetes, which helped to increase understanding of the risk factors and symptoms of Type 2 diabetes. We also referred over 8,000 people who were at ‘high’ or ‘moderate’ risk of having diabetes to their GP for further tests.

Our volunteers and staff provided superb supporting; answering questions and discussing their own experiences living with the condition.
