Whether you're looking for diabetes information, or just someone to talk to – we are here to help you.

Our incredible supporters help us to provide our helpline, local support groups, Type 1 events, online Learning Zone, and even insurance - to name just a few.

From knowing your diabetes risk, to learning to live well with diabetes, we have a wide variety of support available to you.

Our helpline shuts at 3pm on Wednesday 24th December will re-open again at 9am on Friday 2nd January 2026. 

You can join our online forum where you can connect, find information, and seek support from other people living with diabetes.

If you require emergency medical assistance or advice, please call 999, or if it is less urgent then please call the 24-hour NHS 111 service on 111. Alternatively, please speak to your GP or healthcare team.

If you need support with your mental health, you can call the 24-hour NHS 111 service on 111 and choose option 2. The team at Samaritans are also available 24 hours each day, every day of the year on 116 123.

The Royal Voluntary Service and GoodSAM provide a Check In and Chat service which provides friendly telephone chats to reduce loneliness and improve a person’s wellbeing. This service is free to use, open between 8am and 8pm and available 7 days a week. For more information please call: call 0808 196 3646, that’s 0808 196 3646.
