Change to Avandia (Rosiglitazone)

There has been a change to the embossing on all Avandia (Rosiglitazone) tablets.  The embossing is changing from ‘SB’ (SmithKline Beecham) to ‘GSK’ (GlaxoSmithKline).

Whilst the embossing has changed, the tablets were and are still made by GlaxoSmithKline.  There have been no other changes to the tablets, price or pack size.

There have been no changes to Avandamet (Rosiglitazone/Metformin) tablets, which are already embossed ‘GSK’.

If you need any further information regarding these changes, please contact GSK Customer Contact Centre on Free phone: 0800 221 441
