The Cardio & Vascular Coalition (CVC) is a collaboration of voluntary and professional organisations working for improved cardio and vascular health.
Diabetes UK is a member of the CVC, whose interests span all heart and circulatory diseases (including heart disease and stroke), as well as the related conditions of kidney disease and diabetes. These conditions share many risk factors, so the CVC is campaigning for a Cardio & Vascular Health Strategy for 2010 – 2020.
What needs to be improved?
The CVC is currently consulting with a range of organisations to build a picture of what is being done well and what needs to be improved in the prevention and treatment of cardio and vascular disease. The Coalition is also seeking solutions to achieve these improvements in the future.
Listening to the views of patients is essential if we are to achieve gold standards in prevention and care. Accordingly, the CVC has also launched an.
