About the Walk
On 5 May, challenge yourself – and your friends and family – to walk 13 miles along the beautiful Thames Path, discovering the famous and iconic sights of London, before escaping to the country.
Our Thames Path walk will be an adventure for the whole family – with lots to see and do along the historic pathway – and where kids walk for free.
What to expect on the day
Starting out in the beautiful Battersea Park, you’ll head west through nature reserves, idyllic parks and woodlands, giving you the feeling that you’re escaping the city.
You’ll feel as though you’re travelling back through time, passing famous palaces and Kew Gardens, before arriving in picturesque Richmond.
What you’ll receive
On the day, you’ll receive one of our T-shirts, refreshments and a well-deserved finishers' medal, as well as lots of support and encouragement.
Walking to change lives
There is no minimum sponsorship to take part, but a good target to aim for is £10 per mile.
As well as stepping towards a healthier you, you’ll be helping us move towards a better future for people living with diabetes.
If you have any questions about the event or need any support with your fundraising, we’ll be happy to help. You can call us on 0345 123 2399 or email us at email@example.com
