World Diabetes Day Resources

From Zoom backgrounds, posters and postcards, we've put together everything you'll need to take part on World Diabetes Day. It only takes one small act to make the biggest difference to the lives of everyone affected by diabetes.

We can't wait to see the difference we can make #AllTogether on Saturday 14 November, so start planning what you can do!

Online meeting backgrounds

Show your support with our free Zoom and Microsoft Teams backgrounds (each link will open in a new window). Simply download the file, and upload your photo under the ‘add image’ section of the virtual background settings of either Zoom or Teams:

If you're putting on an event - perhaps in the setting you work in, or online - download our posters to help spread the word.
Take a look at our ideas for how to get involved - why not print off the posters and use them as the basis for a creative World Diabetes Day window display at home?

  • Download our celebrating World Diabetes Day poster (PDF, 1.8MB)
Use this poster to celebrate what you’re doing this World Diabetes Day – if you’re putting an awareness display together in your GP office, hospital setting or other workplace, or creating a window display, it’s a great place to start.

  • Download our 'Your event' poster (PDF, 47KB)
You can print this poster off and add information like date, time and details of your event, even if it’s a virtual event.

If you don't have a printer, we have a small batch of posters available to order from our shop - you can order yours before 9 November for delivery by World Diabetes Day, or any time afterwards for events throughout the month.

One of the small ways you could make a big difference to the life of someone living with diabetes right now is to send them a message of support. During particularly tough times like this, a simple message letting someone know you’re there and you care can mean so much.

Download our postcard (PDF, 3.2MB), print off and post it. You can also order a printed postcard for free from our shop.

Social media badges

One small way to share your message far and wide this World Diabetes Day is on social media. Download our social media badges below and upload them as the image for your post, so you can let your followers know what one small act you’re taking and encourage them to do the same.

For example, share a message of support to the diabetes community on your social media channel, let people know what your one small piece of advice would be, or that you’re painting your nails blue to raise awareness and show your support. See this page for the small things you could share.

Don’t forget to use the hashtag #AllTogether so we can see our community coming together to make a difference.
