I can appreciate how scary it must be to inject insulin, and most people feel the same way as you do. Hopefully the more you do it the less scary it will become, and you will begin to accept it as part of your daily routine.
Have you spoken to your diabetes nurse about how you are feeling, as it is important she knows about your concerns, as she can give you practical support and advice, on how to make injecting as easy as possible.
Please ensure you rotate your injection sites, especially if you are just using your arms, and all should be well. I'm glad that you have shared your feelings with us, as this can help many other young people in your situation.
