- Place the cranberries, port, orange rind and juice into a pan.
- Cover and simmer for 8–10 minutes until softened and juicy.
- Stir through sweetener or sugar to taste.
- Cool and chill until required.
- Try adding a finely chopped Bramley apple along with the cranberries for a twist.
- Port can be filtered using animal products, so double check the label if you’re vegetarian/vegan.
- Freezing instructions: Freeze in portions then defrost and serve cold or warm.
