Type 1 Chat

1 May 2024

If you're aged 16-25 you can join the Together Type 1 Team online on Wednesday 1 May from 6-7pm as we come together to chat about peer support and type 1 diabetes.

We've seen how having a community of people who can relate has tackled feelings of isolation and loneliness in young people living with type 1, as part of Together Type 1, we're connecting young people and creating a safe space for them to come together.

Peer support can take place through lots of different approaches across different environments. There is no 'one size fits all' category when it comes to Peer Support. We know different things will work for different people and we want to hear from you!

We'll be joined by Diabetes UK's Iain French, Iain is the Peer Support Manager that works on the Together Type 1 Programme
