Diabetes UK's North Norfolk Local Group will be hosting their annual fundraising walk in June.

This year's annual fundraising event is being held in The National Trust's Sheringham Park on Sunday 10 June between 10am and 2pm.

Organisers hope as many people as possible can come along and support the event and at the same time enjoy a stroll around the Park's beautiful grounds.

You can choose between two walks: one of approximately two miles, which is suitable for wheelchairs and mobility scooters, or one of around four miles.

Refreshments and toilets are available at the start and finish points and at Weybourne Railway Station.

There is free parking for walkers in a "DIABETES" signposted car park.

Teresa Strange, Diabetes UK Eastern regional fundraiser, (pictured right in the photo with a supporter) said: "This annual event is fantastic fun. It's a great way to get some exercise in, enjoy the beautiful scenery and raise money at the same time."

For further information, registration and sponsor forms please contact Jackie and David on 01692 405492 or email diabetes.uk@hotmail.co.uk

If you are unable to attend but know someone who would like to support the group's event please pass these details to them or alternatively just turn up on the day.

Sheringham Park can be found in Wood Farm, Upper Sheringham, Norfolk, NR26 8TL.
