I lead the London team in working across the 33 London boroughs. Along with Rachael I also work with the NHS, Public Health and other organisations to champion good care for those living with diabetes. I also work with volunteers and with the Diabetes UK local groups.
Improving Care Manager
I work with the NHS, Public Health and other organisations across the 33 London boroughs to ensure people with diabetes get the care they need. I deliver our national campaigns locally working with volunteers and local groups to ensure we are championing good care and information at a local level.
Regional Media Officer
My job is to raise the profile of Diabetes UK, its work and the work of our volunteers and fundraisers in the London media, newspapers, radio and TV – so please get in touch if you have a story to tell.
Regional Support Officer
I am the first point of contact for the team and assist in the day to day activities. We arrange health and awareness events across the region, recruit our volunteers for these events, coordinate with the organisers and look after materials. We also produce the quarterly newsletter and am always on the end of the phone for any enquiries.
Senior Volunteer Development
My role is responsible for developing and driving volunteering growth plans across London and the South East.
In my role as Volunteer Coordinator, I’m the first point of contact for individual volunteers in London. I help to recruit and train new volunteers, together with training and managing our existing volunteers across the region.
Group Liaison Officer
I am here to provide a point of contact and support to all of our local groups across London and the South East - for example helping to promote group meetings and activities, recruit volunteers and ensure that things are running safely and sustainably.
