Harry Irvine and his family have been organising this event for 15 years, raising thousands of pounds for local charity, Diabetes UK Northern Ireland, with the support from the local community.

This year there will be live music from Philip Strange, special superhero guests, wheelbarrow races and of course, the Donkey Derby and vintage tractor and car show.

The Irvine family knows all about diabetes and the impact it can have. So they've used the Donkey Derby to try to help other families by raising awareness, and funds for this often misunderstood condition.

Naomi Breen, National Fundraiser for Diabetes UK Northern Ireland, said,  ‘There are over 100,000 people living with diabetes in Northern Ireland. Events like this help us to reach more people and provide the support and information they may need to live well with their diabetes. Thank you to everyone who organises this event and special thanks to the local community. We hope that you join us for another great Donkey Derby.’
