On World Diabetes Day, Diabetes Scotland raises concerns over the step back in the delivery of diabetes care.
The number of people living wth diabetes in Scotland has risen by almost a third between 2008 and 2015.

Diabetes Week: Scottish children join professional footballer Scott Allan to set the record straight about living with diabetes

Children with Type 1 diabetes from across Scotland joined Celtic player Scott Allan, who also has Type 1 diabetes, for a game of football to help dispel the myth that people with diabetes can't play sport.

Diabetes Scotland releases State of the Nation 2015 report

Diabetes Scotland is calling on the Scottish Government to address the unacceptable inequality in diabetes care between Health Board areas which is contributing to poorer health for people living with the condition.
The charity today (Monday, 31 August 2015) published its annual State of the Nation report chronicling the current ‘Age of Diabetes’ and the variations in care and outcomes for people living with diabetes across Scotland.
