We are delighted that Shona Freeborn, our West Dorset Group and Know Your Risk Lead Volunteer, has received a Volunteer of the Year Award from the Volunteer Centre Dorset in recognition of her achievements and dedication.
Shona has worked tirelessly lobbying for better diabetes care and support, attending focus groups and risk assessment events to raise awareness of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
Many congratulations to Shona, who was presented with her award by Lord Julian Fellowes.
