Step into action this spring

We're working with Run Wales to launch a brand new group, helping people living with or at risk of Type 2 diabetes to get more active.

While there are a number of risk factors which might make you more likely to develop Type 2 diabetes, we know that as many as three in five cases could be prevented or delayed by being more active, eating well and maintaining a healthy weight.

Increasing your activity levels by any amount can make a big difference. But we know how hard it can be to take the first step.

Time to step into action

That’s where Step into Action comes in.

The group is friendly, welcoming and suitable for any level of ability. It will be led by qualified run leaders who will give you all the help you need to get moving.

Whether you walk, jog or run, every step you take will help turn your health around. Anyone is welcome!

Come to our first session at 6.30pm on Wednesday 1st May in Dare Valley Park, Aberdare.

You’ll soon be moving more, meeting others, feeling better – and having fun!

Join the Step Into Action Facebook group.
