We have a network of campaigners committed to making sure everyone living with diabetes gets the care and support they need to live well. Â
From emailing political representatives, to sharing their stories to attending events, our campaigners make a huge difference in winning better care for people living and at risk of diabetes.
In recent years, our campaigns shared messages and artwork to show MPs what it’s really like to live with diabetes day in, day out.  Â

Campaign ChampionsÂ
Campaign Champions are volunteers that work with our campaigns team to further our influencing work in England. They use their expertise and knowledge to help improve our campaigns, but they also attend events, take part in media appearances and represent Diabetes UK and others living with and affected by diabetes on panels and in consultations.
Recently, our Campaign Champions joined us to launch a new report on the impact and prevalence of type 2 diabetes in children and adults under 40, in Westminster where they shared their own experiences with MPs and other decisions makers. You can read two of their stories here:Â

Tech Collective Â
Our Tech Collective is a community of people passionate about campaigning for fair and equal access to diabetes technology across Scotland.   Â
Members of the Tech Collective take meaningful action to drive change. They share their stories of living with diabetes, drive social media campaigns, lobby MSPs, and conduct media interviews to make their voices heard. Â
The Tech Collective is campaigning for every health board in Scotland to commit to providing everyone living with type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes with fair and equal access to the life-changing tech they’re eligible for.Â
