We're calling on all UK governments to transform diabetes care and prevention to tackle health inequality, reduce pressure on the NHS, and most importantly, improve lives.
Read more about our vision for diabetes care:
England: Ahead of the 10-Year Health Plan being published, we launched a 10 Year Vision for Diabetes Prevention, Care and Treatment, calling for bold action to ensure everyone receives the best possible care to live well with diabetes, prevent serious complications and tackle inequity in access to services and health outcomes.
Wales: Our recent Tech Can't Wait report has laid bare the critical gaps in support and resources that many individuals living with diabetes face. We want the Senedd to ensure that every person living with diabetes can access the technologies they need, regardless of their geographic location.
Scotland: Earlier this year, we launched our manifesto, Care, Consistency, Choice, setting out five key asks. Our manifesto sets out a clear way forward to improve the care and support available to people with diabetes and those at risk of developing it in the future, ultimately leading to better experiences and outcomes for everyone.
Northern Ireland: With elections to be held in the next year, we are currently working on our campaign to improve diabetes care in Northern Ireland
