From 1 May 2014, Diabetes UK Scotland will operate as Diabetes Scotland.
The Scotland office is still part of Diabetes UK, but by renaming it Diabetes Scotland we are better reflecting that Scotland has a separate health service (NHS Scotland) and its own local drivers, including the Scottish Diabetes Action Plan. The change also reflects feedback received from volunteers, Diabetes UK members and other key stakeholders.
This will not affect your relationship with Diabetes UK and the only change you will see is a new logo. Volunteers will continue to be central to our efforts across England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
