Type 1 Events - Super Saturdays
Super Saturdays are fun, family-focused events for children and young people aged 0 to 11 years living with type 1 diabetes and their families.
They provide a welcoming and supportive space where families can connect with others who understand the day-to-day realities of living with type 1 diabetes, share experiences, build confidence, and access peer support.
Through a range of engaging activities for children and opportunities for parents and carers to meet and chat, Super Saturdays help families create lasting connections, learn from one another, and enjoy a positive day out together.

Super Saturday events are free of charge for families. To stay up to date with future events, you can register your interest online to receive email updates.

Priority will be given to families who haven’t previously attended a Super Saturday and live within reasonable travelling distance of the event. We’re expecting to get a high volume of registrations. Anyone who registers but isn’t offered a place can choose to be placed on the waiting list in case a place becomes available.
Super Saturdays will take place across the UK in 2027. More information about locations and dates will be available soon. However, you can register your interest now in attending an event by completing the online form and you will receive an email when the details are confirmed.
