There will be a live chat onour Facebook page between 12.30 and 13.30.

We will also hold a one-hour live Twitter chat from 17.00, using the hashtag.

Careline

The Diabetes UK Careline is the only dedicated diabetes helpline in the UK. The confidential helpline is staffed by high trained advisors with counselling skills who can provide information on living with diabetes, as well as the time to talk things through.

Self-Care Week

World Diabetes Day also takes place during Self-Care Week (14–20 November), which encourages people to take care of themselves. This is vital, as self-care and management can greatly help to improve the quality of diabetes care. For more information, visit www.selfcareforum.org.
