Over the past few years, Diabetes UK has achieved much to improve the lives of people with diabetes. Our Careline staff answer hundreds of enquiries every week, we aim to spend over £6 million on diabetes research in 2010, and our diabetes risk assessments encourage people to understand their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. However, there is still much work to do if we are to achieve our vision of a future without diabetes.
The road ahead
The world is getting more and more competitive for charities. Major changes are expected in the environment we operate in, such as those in the NHS. Therefore, to enable us to achieve our ambitious agenda, we are investing in a project to review our profile and reputation, to make sure we are ready for the opportunities that lie ahead.
We want to know what you think
To help us undertake this review, we want to hear from you. We’d like your feedback on Diabetes UK – what you know about us, what type of organisation you think we are and whether you think we’re focussing on the right areas of work.
Please note that the survey has now closed. Many thanks to all of you who took the time to participate.
