Here's what you should do if you feel like you might be having a hypo.
|Stop whatever you are doing, right away.|
|If you are with people, tell them what is happening.|
|Test your blood glucose (sugar).|
|Eat or drink some fast-acting carbohydrate.|
|Sit down until you feel better. After 15 minutes, test your blood glucose (sugar) again. If it's still low, eat a bit more fast-acting carbohydrate|
|Some people may then need to eat some slow-acting carbohydrate. Your doctor or nurse will tell you what to do.|
