Community Groups

A group of people stand in a field in front of a building with their hands in the air, smiling at the camera. Some people are wearing blue Diabetes UK t-shirts.

Community groups offer valuable peer support to anyone living with diabetes. Like local groups, they are all run by volunteers who are living with diabetes. But whilst local groups are usually situated in one place, community group meetings will often be held in various social settings in and around a particular area, from bars and restaurants to cafes or even food markets.

All community groups welcome new members. We also have local groups that meet regularly and family groups, which support children with diabetes and their parents.

To join a community group, simply get in touch with them on social media. Links below.
