Join us as a volunteer in the South West
From Land’s End to Lydney, Swindon to the Scilly Islands, our great team of over 400 volunteers are vital to everything we do here at Diabetes UK.
Every year our volunteers help hundreds of people find out their risk of developing diabetes; they give inspirational speeches, campaign for better services, help run local support groups, organise fun events and offer much needed support.
They are making a real difference to people living with diabetes. To find out more about how you can volunteer to help people with diabetes, please get in touch with our South West volunteering team:

Volunteering and Outreach Manager, Verity McLelland
I work across the South West region supporting volunteers as they learn new skills and grow in their roles, including running local groups and raising awareness. We train and develop volunteers so that they have the knowledge and confidence they need to help others and make a real difference to people affected by diabetes. There are so many ways you can get involved with us to really help others and become part of a fantastic team.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to get in touch.
