Welcome to our South West volunteering pages.
From Land’s End to Lydney, Swindon to the Scilly Islands, our great team of over 400 volunteers are vital to everything we do here at Diabetes UK.Every year, our volunteers help hundreds of people find out their risk of developing diabetes, give inspirational speeches, campaign for better services, organise fun events and offer much needed support; they are making a real difference to people living with diabetes.

Gemma Jackson, Volunteer Support Officer
I’ve been working for Diabetes UK for just a few months and I’m still learning about all the great things our volunteers do. My role is to recruit and support volunteers and help with training days.I really love attending our Know Your Risk road shows with volunteers, helping the public to learn if they are at risk of developing diabetes. My current project is working on the Big Collection happening in September. Please firstname.lastname@example.org get in touch.
