Brackla Fundraising Group will be hosting a very special Halloween party on October 26.

The Halloween Disco will be held at Brackla Community Centre and will feature a children’s fancy dress competition, a face painter, a hot dog stand and a suitably spooky playlist.

The Brackla Fundraising Group chooses one charity per year to support and has spent 2018 raising vital funds for Diabetes UK Cymru. This year they have organised Craft Fayres, exhibitions and Christmas events as well as appearing at the Brackla Primary School prom and Ogwr Hawks Rugby Festival to raise funds and awareness for the charity.

“Fun for the whole family”

Group organiser Hannah May, 21, said: “We have chosen to fundraise for Diabetes UK Cymru because one of our members has Type 2 diabetes. All of us also have a friend or family with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes so it’s a charity that is very close to our hearts.

“Our Halloween Disco will be fun for the whole family. It’s a chance to connect with new and old friends in a safe, fun environment with a spooky twist. We’re looking forward to seeing all of the creative costumes from the community and dancing to some creepy classics while supporting this worthy cause.”

The Halloween Disco starts at 6pm. Entry is £1 on the door.
