Researchers at the University of Southampton are inviting adults who have experienced diabetic foot ulcers to participate in a short anonymous survey which should take no more than 20 minutes to complete.
Evidence shows that there is a strong relationship between physical activity levels and cardiovascular (heart and blood vessel) health, but it is unclear how diabetic foot ulcers affects this.
The aim of the study is to explore the potential interactions between presence of diabetic foot ulcers, physical activity, and cardiovascular health. The study will also explore the views of people who have experience of diabetic foot ulcers on how the ulcers impact cardiovascular health and level of physical activity.
The aim of this research is improve the cardiovascular health of people who experience diabetic foot ulcers.
