Researchers at Manchester Metropolitan University would like to recruit people aged 18–30 living with type 1 diabetes in the UK to take part in a study exploring self-management, emotional wellbeing and the role of peer support, including Diabetes UK’s Together Type 1 (TT1) programme.

We are interested in hearing from you whether or not you have been involved with TT1, or other diabetes peer-support groups.

Taking part involves completing a short, anonymous online questionnaire, which will take approximately 10 minutes. The questionnaire asks about your experiences of living with and managing type 1 diabetes, wellbeing, and experiences of peer support, if any. At the end of the questionnaire, TT1 participants will have the option to volunteer for a follow-up online interview lasting approximately 30–45 minutes.

Your participation is completely voluntary, and you do not need to be involved in TT1 to take part.

For more information or to take part, please contact kamala.dixon@stu.mmu.ac.uk or click here.
