Researchers at Ulster University would like to recruit people with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes, who are over 18 years old, and have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 25-50 to take part in a study that is exploring whether omega-3 fatty acid supplements can influence blood sugar and slow the progression of type 2 diabetes.
We are looking for individuals to attend the Human Intervention Studies Unit in Coleraine, Ulster University for a screening appointment and three further occasions to get blood analysis, blood pressure and anthropometric measurements.
