Exploring The Role of Self-Efficacy in Type 2 Diabetes Self-Management among adults in Wales: A qualitative study.

Researchers at Cardiff Metropolitan University would like to recruit adults aged 18 years and over living in Wales who have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes to take part in a study exploring the role of self-efficacy (confidence in managing one's condition) in type 2 diabetes self-management.

The aim of this study is to better understand how confidence influences diabetes self-management behaviours, such as healthy eating, physical activity, taking medication, and blood sugar monitoring. The findings may help improve support and interventions for people living with type 2 diabetes.

Taking part involves completing an anonymous online survey, which will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary, and all information provided will be kept confidential.
