Now in its 6th year, The London Diabetes Clinical Network Footcare Steering Group are pleased to invite you to the next annual conference focusing on progressing footcare in London “from Excellent to Outstanding”.
This event will equip you with best practice for diabetic footcare, including an update on services delivered by multidisciplinary foot teams (MDFTs) and foot amputations across London.
We will be joined by diabetes experts delivering topical sessions on a national diabetes update followed by how footcare will be impacted by the Long Term Plan, in London. There will also an opportunity to discuss what is happening with footcare locally, before learning about standardising pathways of care and identifying current issues in footcare and how to address them.
The main aims and objectives of the day are:
Learning about current delivery of MDFTs in diabetes services in London –from peer to peer reviews and Root Cause Analyses into amputations.
Analysing the Long Term Plan and strategy for London and foot health.
Sharing best practice to help implement innovative solutions for diabetic foot care services across London
The event is aimed at all those involved in diabetes care: patients; specialist foot care MDTs; clinical and non-clinical professionals; vascular teams, podiatrists; commissioners; local authorities; GPs and nurses.
