David Nicholson, former Chief Executive of NHS England, gave a compelling talk in early March at the annual Young Diabetologists and Endocrinologists Day. He talked about designing the ideal diabetes service, and focused on what he felt were the many benefits of diabetes education courses.
In this video, he explains what the diabetes education course was like, and some of the benefits it brought to him and others on the course. He also tells us what he would say to other people living with diabetes about attending a course.
