A new partnership has been announced between Google and pharmaceutical company Sanofi, with the aim of developing tools that will support people to better manage their diabetes. Sanofi will work with the Life Sciences team at Google. Details about the partnership and the tools that will be developed have not yet been announced.
Google have said that they hope to make diabetes management simpler and more convenient, to help people with diabetes achieve a better quality of life. As new technologies continue to emerge which support patients with managing their diabetes, Google have said that there is the opportunity for the development of more proactive and effective ways to control the condition.
Sanofi have said that the initiative has the potential to transform diabetes care.
