Support for nurses with insulin delegation
At Diabetes UK, we’re currently looking at how we can support nurses who have concerns around insulin delegation. We’ve spoken to our DSN Consultative Group about what they’re worried about, and are putting together some resources which we hope will help you.
A short leaflet produced by the RCN gives clear guidance on accountability and delegation for the nursing team. It also features case studies to show where and when delegation is appropriate.
