Aims
The MSc Quality Diabetes Care is a part time programme designed for healthcare professionals working in diabetes care settings who are keen to upskill their practice and knowledge and gain a formal postgraduate qualification.

Type of study
Part time flexible study for working health care professionals over 1 year (certificate), 2 years (diploma) or 3 years (MSc). Interactive case based teaching, group working, online tutorials and workplace projects.
Entry criteria
Applicants should normally have a good second class honours degree. The University of Dundee does, however, also take into consideration experience and alternative qualifications.
How achievement is assessed
The different modules are all assessed in slightly different ways. Assessment methods include: workplace diabetes care improvement projects (written up as an academic essay), reflective essays, essays on theory in to practice, and clinical case scenario management assessments (written papers).
Teaching methods
Complete distance learning with online tutorials, lectures, interactive e-learning, case based studies and workplace assessments.
