At Diabetes UK we strive to put those affected by diabetes at the heart of our campaigns. That’s why we have a team of Campaign Champions across England to help us improve diabetes care.
Our Campaign Champions volunteer to fight for better care for the millions of people living with diabetes and to prevent the rise of type 2. They work to get the support of their MPs on issues that affect people living with diabetes, as well as campaigning to improve local healthcare and support services.
All of our Campaign Champions have a passion for campaigning to improve diabetes care. That means they can speak powerfully to MPs and other decision makers about the need to take action to improve diabetes care.
Campaign Champions’ current focus:
Our current campaigning focuses are the Diabetes is Serious campaign and our campaign to influence the 10-Year Health Plan.
