What are we calling for?
We’re calling on UK governments to act now by:
- Support ongoing research and clinical pathways to identify and monitor people with early-stage type 1 diabetes with the ambition for a future national screening programme
- Rapidly adopting immunotherapies into the NHS
- Making the UK a global hub for beta cell therapy research
We have a once‑in‑a‑century opportunity to change the story of type 1 diabetes. Let’s make sure we take it - for everyone living with type 1 today, and for every child who deserves a future free from its burden.
