Prandial glucose regulator

Like the sulphonylureas, these stimulate the cells in the pancreas to produce more insulin. However, unlike the sulphonylureas, they work very quickly but only last for a short time and are given within half an hour before each meal.

If a meal is missed, the dose must be omitted. These tablets are taken up to three times daily.
