Northern Ireland
Together Type 1: Bowling and Wellbeing Day
When? Saturday 21st March 2026
What time? 11am-3:30pm
Where? Airtastic Lisburn - 17 Lisburn Leisure Park, Lisburn, BT28 1LP
Who for? This event is for young people aged 11-17 living with type 1 and their parents/carers.
What to expect: We will be bowling at Lisburn Airtastic, then heading to Lisburn Leisure Centre for lunch and our wellbeing sessions. The session for young people will be run by Action Mental Health and AWARE, with support from young people living with type 1 diabetes, providing techniques to support your wellbeing whilst living with type 1 diabetes. There will also be a wellbeing session for parents/carers.

Live Well Hubs
When, where, what time, and what to expect?
Our Northern Ireland team offers diabetes support and information to local communities through their Live Well Hubs.
The National Lottery Funded project has helped the team launch Hubs in Bangor, Ballymena, Belfast (Houben Centre), Belfast (LORAG), Lisburn, Mid Ulster and Newry.

Connecting Communities Rhondda

What to expect: An event created to bring all services across the sectors in Rhondda to provide help and support to the local community.

Together Type 1: Cross Region Quiz (North and Wales)
When? Thursday 5th March 2026
What time? 6pm-7pm
Where? Online via Zoom
Who can attend? 11-15 year olds.
What to expect: Meet other young people living with Type 1 whilst having fun along the way.

Aberystwyth Veterans and Blue Light Day

Where? At Ystwyth Medical Group, Parc Y Llyn, Aberystwyth, SY23 3TL
Who can attend? This event is for veterans and service members.
What to expect: This will be a drop-in style event, and our aim is to bring together as many organisations as possible who support veterans and members of the Blue Light community. We hope the day will provide opportunities for networking, information-sharing, and helping our local veteran community learn more about the services available to them.
