Around 100 runners took part in this year’s British 10K London Run on behalf of Diabetes UK, making the run a great fundraising success.
The run took place on Sunday 1 July, starting on Piccadilly at Hyde Park Corner. The weather was pleasantly mild and runners had the opportunity to pass many of the capital's world-famous landmarks before finishing on Whitehall near Downing Street.
“We would like to thank everyone who took part in the event to help raise vital funds for diabetes research," said Elizabeth Roe, London Regional Fundraising Manager at Diabetes UK.
"The dedicated people who help us fundraise make an invaluable contribution to the work of Diabetes UK."
