There are still a few places left in the following fun walking events this summer so if you want to take part!
Theon 5 August 2007 is a great opportunity to learn more about architecture old and new, and see how London has changed over the years. The walk starts at 11am at Tower Hill Underground and will take in Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, the Gherkin, and Guildhall before finishing at St Paul’s Cathedral and Paternoster Square.
Thein the Park will take place on Sunday 12 August in Gunnersbury Park, Ealing W3, and will start at 3pm. The Mela is a free festival featuring a wide range of performances inspired by South Asian culture.
Thewill take place on Sunday 16 September, and is an opportunity to walk 6-7 miles through some of London’s most beautiful areas, including Kew Gardens and Syon Park. Participants will also be able to test their knowledge of historic London with a fun quiz. Dog-lovers are also encouraged to take their pets along with them. The walk will start from Hammersmith Bridge at 10am and finish at Richmond Bridge at 12 noon.
These walks will require all those wishing to take part to make a minimum donation to help fund diabetes research.
