If you're looking for a night out with a difference and to raise money for diabetes at the same time, join a sponsored ghost hunt.
The event, organised by Diabetes UK North West office, will be hosed by Living TV's Most Haunted Richard Felix (pictured, below), and will held at Samlesbury Hall, Preston, on Friday 2 November.
Samlesbury Hall is an excellent venue for a ghost hunting expedition; with many sightings of ghosts including The White Lady, a small servant boy, a previous owner of the hall and some priests.
There will be a fantastic prize available for whoever raises the most sponsorship money prior to the event. The prize will include some signed Richard Felix goodies and a pair of tickets to another Diabetes UK Fright Night with David Wells.
The evening will include:
- Richard Felix’s “What is a ghost” presentation
- Demonstration of ghost hunting equipment
- A dowsing workshop
- Tour of `active’ areas of the building with mediums and team
If you would like to join in the event then tickets are £55 each. This covers the staging of the event and ensures that all sponsorship money raised goes towards diabetes research.
