Medieval moments at Dudley Castle

Medieval moments will be on the menu when Diabetes UK takes over Dudley Castlecourtyard for a themed fundraising evening on Thursday 8 May.

The event will see a medieval market complete with hog roast around the BlackCountry landmark building plus a ghost tour of the castle grounds. There will also be a range of medieval shows and games alongside workshops and demonstrations, including bread and beer making.

Very worthwhile cause

“It’s good to be a partner with a national charity and help raise the profile of a very worthwhile cause and we hope to see lots of people here in the courtyard to make the event a big success”, said Peter Suddock, Chief Executive of Dudley Zoological Gardens.

Emma Rowley, of Diabetes UK West Midlands, adds: “We hope people will bring the entire family to what promises to be a very enjoyable event and help to raise much needed funds for Diabetes UK”
