Last year’s Bendy Bus Type 1 diabetes awareness video was awarded a commendation in the 2009 Pharmaceutical Marketing Awards as one of the best digital media campaigns aimed at patient education.
Diabetes UK was proud to receive a commendation and certificate for the film, which was created to raise awareness of Type 1 diabetes and highlight some of the key differences between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
A great achievement
"We are really pleased our Bendy bus film has received a commendation," said Amanda Neylon, Digital Media Manager at Diabetes UK.
"We want to say a huge thank you to Nitro Digital Ltd who shot the film and put it forward for the award.
“More than 5,878 people have viewed the video since its launch in September 2008, with countless others sharing it virally by mobile and email, and there has been a lot of positive feedback from the public. This is a great achievement."
