Take on the Bridges of London Challenge

Do you enjoy walking and sightseeing? Do you want to help us raise much-needed funds for vital diabetes research? Then the Bridges of London walk is the perfect way for you to get involved.

The events takes place on Sunday 15 November 2009 and the walk starts at Westminster Bridge and snakes along the river to the finish at Tower Bridge.

The course is approximately five miles and participants will enjoy seeing some of London’s most iconic bridges along the way taking in sights up and down the river.

There is no minimum fundraising target for this event but participants are encouraged to try and raise as much as possible to help fund crucial diabetes research.

Children under 16 wanting to take part must be accompanied, and owing to the steps involved, the walk may not be suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Please note this is not a guided walk. You will be provided with a map and directions at a registration point, but the route will not be sign posted or marshalled.
