Diabetes UK Professional Conference 2024 — Named Lectures Winners

Our keynote lectures give you exclusive insight into the latest research and understanding of diabetes treatment and care.

We're pleased to announce the awardees who will be delivering our Named Lectures at the next Diabetes UK Professional Conference in 2024. Awarded through a competitive process, they are our keynote lectures, forming an integral component of the conference programme. They provide a platform to share recent developments in research and progressive thinking about diabetes care, and recognise the lecturer's outstanding contribution to the field. 

The following speakers will be delivering the Named Lectures at the Diabetes UK Professional Conference 2024:

RD Lawrence Lecture: Dr Angus Jones, Associate Professor, University of Exeter and Honorary Consultant Physician, Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Mary MacKinnon Lecture: Dr Rachel Urban and Dr Sarah Upton, Locala Health and Wellbeing, Medicines Optimisation Team, Community Nursing Network

Harry Keen Rank Nutrition Lecture: John Wilding, Professor of Medicine, University of Liverpool & Honorary Consultant Physician, Aintree University Hospital
