This year, run a Month of Miles when it suits you - and make it a month of being amazed at what you can do.
This challenge is all about you - you choose when you start and how far you go. Run 8 miles, 13.1 miles, 20 miles or the 26.2 miles of a full marathon and prepare to feel healthier in body and mind.
It’s a month of putting yourself first, but with the heart-warming feeling you’ll get from being part of something bigger. Because by getting sponsored for every mile you run, you’ll be helping us transform the lives of people affected by diabetes.
Get ready for a month of feeling your heart thump. Of feeling that sweat trickle. Of choosing to power through.
It’s your month, your miles, and your body. And we’re here to support you all the way to the finish line.
- free to register
- no minimum sponsorship requirement; although we would suggest a target of £10 for every mile you hope to cover over the month
- you must be aged 18 or over to register and receive an online profile page - children are welcome to join, but they need a parent or guardian to register on their behalf.
How we’ll support you to the finish line
No matter how far you choose to go, we’ll be with you all of the way. After you sign up, you’ll receive a downloadable welcome pack featuring advice about preparing for your challenge, fundraising tips, a running schedule and a sponsorship form.
You’ll also get your very own Month of Miles online profile page where you can track your miles, collect your fundraising and share your running progress throughout the month.
We’ll be sharing lots of running tips to help you stay motivated throughout the challenge, plus - as a way to say thank you for your amazing support - there are exclusive rewards to earn each time you hit one of our fundraising targets.
"The health benefits, the mental health benefits, the fact that you know you’re making the world a better place for people affected by diabetes, it’s all worth it."
- Carol, a previous Month of Miles participant
