On behalf of Professor Tim Briggs, Chair of the Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) programme, and Professors Gerry Rayman and Partha Kar, the GIRFT clinical leads and authors of the report, we would like to invite you to join us virtually for a lunchtime webinar for a presentation of the diabetes specialty report. In addition to the GIRFT team, we will welcome Bridget Turner, Director of policy campaigns and improvement, Diabetes UK.

Partha, Gerry and Bridget will be discussing the report’s recommendations, highlighting the importance of specialist inpatient teams for ensuring that the safety of patients with diabetes is at the forefront of post-COVID care, how care for people with Type 1 diabetes can be improved, and the need to close gaps in the provision of diabetic footcare.
