Update: Continuous Glucose Monitors - Pregnancy

NHS England and NHS Improvement have announced that continuous glucose monitors (CGM) will now be offered to all women with type 1 diabetes during pregnancy.

15 October 2020

Funding has been allocated to local systems to support this as of 1 October 2020, and training is available for healthcare professionals who are not already familiar with CGM or already offering it in their service.

Local maternity and diabetes network leads have been provided with information about how to access this funding and details of the training available.
