Do you aspire to being a leader of quality diabetes care? Are you working at a senior level as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse (DSN) and feel that you could influence others to deliver better care?
At Diabetes UK we know that nationally some of the best diabetes care is delivered and led by great DSNs who are strong local leaders.
We are looking for DSNs who are willing to embrace the responsibility for delivering improvement in diabetes care. Alongside Leicester Diabetes Centre and TREND-UK, we have developed a free Tomorrow's Leaders course for DSNs. By completing the residential course you will have the opportunity to learn:
- who and how to influence
- how to be an effective leader
- to identify the barriers to quality care and how to overcome them
- to work with a coach to develop your own action plan
Outstanding interactive course…This has given me the confidence and motivation to drive my health care change in diabetes forward
Date and time:
11.30am for a 12pm start Thursday 2 July until 12pm on Friday 3 July, and follow-up on Friday 25 September 10.30am - 3pm. You must be able to attend all of the course.
