Applications are now open for funding for research, smaller research projects, and professional education from the Novo Nordisk UK Research Foundation.
The Novo Nordisk UK Research Foundation is a charity to support researchers in the field of diabetes. Funding is available on a competitive basis for clinicians, including nurses and allied healthcare professionals, working in adult services, general practice and paediatrics.
Awards for clinical research fellowships in primary or secondary care to a clinician or a nurse supporting work towards PhD or MD.
For doctors, nurses and basic scientists, small research project grants up to £12,000 are available.
These awards are available for nurses and allied healthcare professionals, and include attendance at a national or international meeting up to £1,000, a course of study up to £2,000 or a small clinical project up to £5,000.
